Welcome. We’re glad you’re here.
Scott Gritton of Gritton Wood Studio has spent the past 30 years producing custom crafted fine wood furnishings and home accessories for a growing number of discerning clients and galleries. Scott’s distinctive style considers bark, knots and highly figured grain early in the design process to bring the natural character of the wood to each finished piece.
Committed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, each piece is handled with Scott’s personal attention to detail in his rural Westfield, Wisconsin studio (and overseen by his “bench dog” Bo).
We hope you will find something you like on our site or will call Scott to work with him on a custom piece just perfect for your needs.

Gritton Wood Studio made us a custom Birdseye Maple table to fit our breakfast nook over 25 years ago. Many special families dinners have been eaten at this beautiful table. When we moved, our new kitchen did not have space for the table, so it’s now a desk in our office. Scott also made end tables for us which we still use today. Wonderful craftsmanship and furniture that will last for years.
